With over 250 years of combined experience in retail operations, IT management and systems implementation,
the staff of RTS has successfully re-engineered and implemented a wide array of applications and projects in

RTS Consulting Inc. Incorporated in 2003 by Rick Street. RTS provides retail business & technology expertise
in the areas of: Requirements Assessment and Planning, Vendor Management, Item Management and SOX
404 reporting assistance, Data Marts, both headquarters and store systems. RTS Consultants have
proficiency with Store Back Office applications and operational experience with POS systems, Perishable
Management, DSD Receiving and ensuring Margin Control. Automation of Business and IT Processes, POS
Systems Management and Systems Integration are performed by our technical consultants, many of whom are

Rick Street – Managing Consultant and President
Rick brings 30+ years of retail technology experience. He is an internationally recognized consultant with 30
years of delivering technologies and projects achieving business value in the food and retail industries. With
extensive experience in all areas of retail execution, he is called upon globally to manage difficult projects. He
is a frequent contributor to industry publications and often solicited by industry analysts for their research. He
is recognized by retailers and systems vendors for achieving results and delivering business value. Rick has
served with many major retail technology vendors throughout the world in product development, product
management, and project delivery capacities. He has helped introduce technology to new markets in Europe
and the Americas.
David Norman – Manager of Automation Solutions
Dave has extensive technical and business skills with over 18 years experience in retail operations and
software technology environments. He has automated processes in over 50 clients, bringing structure and
control to disjointed processes saving clients time and money. Dave uses his retail competencies in
perishable and non-perishable departments, scale management, quality assurance, product availability,
pricing integrity and margin control from point of delivery to point of sale when structuring his automation
processes. He is skilled in the facilitation of discovery workshops that assess existing business or IT process
flows and re-engineers processes to improve operational efficiencies. Dave is proficient in the implementation
of retail business solutions with competencies in process mapping, development of automation processes,
data analysis and systems integration/conversions.
Robert Burritt – Senior Client Manager / Emerging Technologies
Rob brings over 18 years of experience in a software technology and grocery retail technology environment;
he possesses extensive knowledge of retail operations and client management. Rob is a knowledgeable
Solutions Engineering Professional and was the key application solutions engineer in over 20 headquarters
and store implementations. He possess a background in project management and solutions engineering in a
retail technology atmosphere, and has retail competencies in the areas of POS systems, product
configuration, pricing integrity and margin control from point of delivery to point of sale. Rob facilitates
discovery workshops that assess existing business processes and engineers’ processes to improve
operational efficiencies. He is proficient in the implementation of retail business solutions, displays
competencies in process mapping, data analysis and systems integration/conversions. Rob was associated
with multiple POS Dealers providing installation and account direction assistance before joining RTS.
Bob Tabor -- Senior Business and Technical Consultant
Bob has over 30 years experience in retail and software technology, performing software deployments and
assessing new computer technologies. Bob is recognized as an industry authority in POS systems
configuration, installation and system management. He possesses retail operational competencies in the
areas of wholesale, headquarters and store operations; having worked for multiple retailers, wholesalers and
POS Dealers before joining RTS. He has worked in the areas of receivable enforcement, pricing integrity,
margin control configuration, relational database design, data analysis, and application integration, system
conversions, improving operational efficiencies and troubleshooting critical issues.
Don Ruybal -- Senior Project Manager - Fresh Item Management
Don brings over 30 years experience in retail and software technology, performing software development
management, project delivery, and user training and acceptance. He is well recognized in the industry as
having premier retail & POS expertise. Don possesses retail operational experience from his own store
operations as well as headquarters operations; having worked with multiple retailers and POS vendors before
joining RTS. Don has successfully delivered thousands of POS lanes throughout North America. Don also
leads our Fresh Item Management practice delivering business value to grocery retailers across North America.
Roy Powell – Senior Consultant, Retail Operations Business Analyst
Experienced with 30 years in a retail/wholesale/distribution and software technology environment; Roy is an
expert in retail hardware & software, including programming, system software and support, hardware/software
evaluation and selection. He is adept at telecommunications including voice/data carrier selection, contract
negotiations, WAN/LAN with wireless network design and a VoIP convergence platform. Business areas
encompass resource and capital planning, expense budgeting and control, change management, and
negotiations. Veteran with POS, store systems and operations, warehouse management, transportation and
distribution. Roy is seasoned in financial and accounting integration including: Cost Accounting systems,
FOCUS Financials, MSA, ADP, MSA G/L, A/R, and Great Plains Financials. Proficient at integrating accounting
to the category, department, and item level. possesses retail operational competencies in the areas of
receivable cost and quantity enforcement, pricing integrity and margin control. Other areas of expertise
include: CA/Masterpiece Financials, CA Ingress, MS/SQL, Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains financials,
Merchandising Management and Retail Pricing, E-Plum scale management, Gift Card, EFT, Kronos, labor
scheduling, TRAX.
John Potter – Senior Technical Consultant
With over 30 years in a retail and software technology environment; John is experienced in software
deployments and skilled in computer technologies including: installation, configuration, relational database
design, data analysis, application integration, and web-portal design and development. He had performed
multiple system conversions and created data interfaces that improved operational efficiencies; he is adept at
troubleshooting critical issues. John also possesses retail operational competencies (as a store operator) in
the areas of store operations which assists his understanding of how retail and IT operations interact and
allows him to build interfaces that work for both groups.
